Whether you're chasing the Northern Lights or simply breathing in the quiet beauty of Lapland, this experience on the lake offers something rare: a feeling of peace, freedom, and connection to nature.

You’ll begin by drilling your own hole in the thick, crystal-clear ice using a traditional ice auger. No prior experience is needed — our knowledgeable guide will show you exactly what to do, from setting your line to reading the movements beneath the ice.

 Ice fishing is a peaceful, slow-paced activity — a chance to disconnect and enjoy the silence of the Arctic. Time on the frozen lake is often described as calming, meditative, and deeply immersive.

After fishing, warm up in our cozy wooden shelter, heated by a crackling wood fire. You’ll be served a delicious traditional salmon soup and a hot drink — a real Lapland comfort meal after time spent outdoors.

And if you caught a fish? You’ll have the unique chance to grill your own catch over an open fire at our outdoor cooking spot, surrounded by snowy trees. Our guide will help you prepare it — fresh, simple, and flavorful.

Prefer to take it home? No problem — you’re welcome to bring your fish with you as a tasty souvenir of your Arctic adventure.

 Step into the heart of Lapland’s winter wilderness with our immersive Levi Snowshoe Survival Experience! Begin at our meeting point where your friendly local guide welcomes you and takes you on a short 15-minute drive to the snowy forest. After a safety briefing and clear instructions, you’ll start your adventure in Lapland wilderness.

Once there, you’ll be equipped with snowshoes and given essential tips to help you find a shelter in the forest using a simple map and your guide’s advice. This hands-on task lets you practice real survival skills like navigating the snowy terrain, building a shelter, and starting a fire in challenging conditions.

Warm up by your fire with a hot drink, while your guide shares fascinating stories about Lapland’s wildlife and culture—you might even spot rabbits hopping through the snow! Throughout the adventure, your guide supports you to ensure you feel safe and confident.
